The Veritas name comes from my high school motto: Veritas Sine Timore, which means “Truth without fear”. That is our lifestyle – being true about our cigars. No fancy aspirational lifestyle imagery.

Ever get tired of seeing all the cigar ads & websites that talk not about the product, but about the “lifestyle”? They romance you, the consumer, with Photoshopped images of their products in the mouths of women or old men. Here at Veritas Cigars, we definitely are tired of it. What’s up with that? We don’t mind the eye candy of young, hot women fawning over old men with a big fat stogie in their mouth. Ok, maybe we do. All that fancy marketing doesn’t make the cigars any better, not by a long shot.
