First Third: On first light the cigar lets you know what its all about, a burst of red pepper and leather from the semi closed foot fills your mouth off the bat. Many more flavors quickly join the party- Chocolate, coffee and white pepper. Very balanced and very complex.
Second Third : Starts off with much less pepper than the first third, coffee is a little more prominent, as well as a creamy note that lays in the background. Pepper keeps coming in and out of the foreground.
Final Third: The cigar intensifies closer to a full body, still extremely balanced, with more pronounced peppers, but different than the first third. Black pepper, leather and earth take the lead.
Final Thoughts: The Crook of the crown is an absolute Home run in the first inning, first swing. Stolen thrones team with the assistance of master blender Noel Rojas have created a cigar that will please most, in all aspects. Construction and flavors are dead on.
We are anxiously anticipating the arrival of the newest release from the guys- The Call to Arms, that will be available very very shortly.
