Expect dark caramel, espresso, dark chocolate and leather from the first draw, with red oak and black peppercorn close behind and a sharp cinnamon heat on the retrohale. The middle third softens into café latte, toffee, toasted almond, aged cedar and clove, while the oily Colorado Claro leaf adds a sweetness that keeps the ligero in check.
The finish turns to dark molasses, vanilla bean and espresso with a long, warming close. This is a smoke for experienced palates only, so pair it with a full stomach and a slow evening.
