Ezra Zion Inception Reborn — The Original 2012 Unicorn Returns. 700 Made.
Posted on June 11 2026
In 2012, a brand no one had heard of set up a tiny booth at the IPCPR trade show with one cigar. That cigar was Inception — and it won two Cigar of the Year awards that year before being pulled from the market entirely due to trademark issues. For 14 years, it didn't exist. Now it's back.
Wrapper: 14-year aged Corojo 99 Rosado
Binder & Filler: Undisclosed — all tobaccos aged 7 to 17 years
Format: 6.5x54 Toro Extra Box Press
Strength: Full
Price: $64.95 single
Total Production: 700 cigars worldwide
Ezra Zion went back to the same farms, same lots, and same crop years as the original 2012 production. The result is a full-bodied box press with a velvety 14-year Rosado wrapper delivering milk chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon, black pepper, candied macadamia nuts, heavy cream, and dried fruit on the open. Dark cocoa, Cabernet wine, and vanilla bean through the middle. Toffee, black tea, toasted marshmallows, and chocolate chips in the final third.
700 cigars. That is the entire production run. If you are thinking about getting one later, that is a poor plan.
