Pete Johnson’s Tatuaje is one of the most iconic independent cigar brands in America, built on a foundation of bold Nicaraguan tobacco and an unwavering partnership with the Garcia family at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí. Among Tatuaje’s most celebrated traditions is the Old Man and The C series: limited edition releases that pair a lonsdale with a culebra, each chapter built around a different Tatuaje blend. The concept debuted in 2011 with El Triunfador, returned in 2012 with Black Label, and came back again in 2021 with Fausto. Now it’s the Creature’s turn.

The Creature blend made its debut in the 2021 Monster Mash sampler and returned in the 2024 Monster Smash before receiving its first full size standalone release earlier this year. For Old Man and The C Monster, Pete Johnson has given the all Nicaraguan Creature blend a slightly thicker vitola than its usual lancero, moving to a 7 x 44 lonsdale format that allows the blend to breathe more fully and deliver its complex, full bodied character across a longer, more expansive smoke.

Each coffin contains two experiences in one:

• One Lonsdale (7 x 44): a single, elegant smoke
• One Culebra: three individual 7 x 44 cigars twisted together in the traditional culebra format, meant to be carefully separated and smoked individually

Each box contains six coffins, six lonsdales and six culebras (18 individual cigars), for a total of 24 cigars per box. Presented in a beautiful wooden collector’s box stamped with the Old Man and The C Monster branding.

Limited to 1,300 boxes worldwide, 7,800 coffins total. One of the most distinctive and collectible Tatuaje releases in years.
