Pete Johnson's Tatuaje is one of the most iconic independent cigar brands in America, built on a foundation of bold Nicaraguan tobacco and a deep partnership with the Garcia family at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí. When Tatuaje released Havana VI in 2006, it introduced a line of six original vitolas whose first letters spelled out HAVANA, a tribute to one of Pete's beloved Rottweilers. Over the following years the line grew by one more size, bringing the core lineup to seven vitolas and cementing Havana VI as one of the most well regarded everyday smokes in the Tatuaje portfolio.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Havana VI, Tatuaje is adding two new sizes to the core lineup, both featuring a soft box press and a commemorative 20th anniversary band. They ship Summer 2026 and will sit alongside the existing Havana VI core sizes permanently.

The Series B is a Britanicas Extra at 5⅞ x 48, a classic Cuban format with a refined, focused draw that concentrates the blend's rich Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro character. The Series E is an Edmundo at 5⅞ x 52, the larger ring gauge opens up the blend, delivering more body and a broader, more expansive smoking experience across the same exceptional tobacco.

Both vitolas wear the same dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper that defines the Havana VI line, expect notes of dark cedar, leather, espresso, black pepper, and rich earthiness that build steadily from first light to the final draw.

Twenty years in. Still hitting as hard as ever.
