Foundation Highclere Castle Senetjer Limited Edition
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
Foundations Newest cigar comes from their Highclere Castle line. It is a 6.75x52 perfecto, that pays homage to the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tut's tomb.
Senetjar uses a 7th priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Brazilian Mata Fina binder which stays true to the Highclere line, followed by a undisclosed mix of filler leaves all of which have been aged for 3 years.
They come in boxes of 12, and if you can expect anything from Foundation, you know they pull inspiration from history. The boxes are designed in collaboration with two archaeologists Colleen and John Darnell, who created a box that replicated one found in the tomb. The Senetjer line gets it name from the ancient Egyptian word for incense, which has been translated as “of the gods” and “that which makes holy.”
Senetjar was rolled at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez, in Nicaragua.
