Crowned Heads was founded by Jon Huber and Mike Conder, two veterans of the premium cigar industry whose boutique approach, commitment to quality, and passion for storytelling have made Crowned Heads one of the most respected independent brands in the business. Every release carries a narrative, and Belgian Blue is one of the most direct statements the brand has ever made.

Named after the Belgian Blue cattle breed, known for its extraordinary musculature and raw physical power, Belgian Blue the cigar was built to reflect exactly that: exceptional strength as a byproduct of exceptional blending, not as a goal in itself. “Belgian Blue was never about chasing strength for strength’s sake,” said Jon Huber. “The cigar was blended for flavor and intensity first, and the power was a byproduct. The annual demand over the last couple of years has been relentless, and we are proud and excited to bring it back once again.”

Now in its third consecutive year, Belgian Blue LE 2026 introduces a new vitola, a 5¼ x 54 box pressed Robusto Extra, while maintaining the same celebrated blend that earned the line its following. A Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and a Dominican and Nicaraguan filler in which a remarkable 75% of the tobacco is from the ligero priming, the highest, most potent leaves on the plant. Produced at D’Hatuey, the result is a full bodied, intensely complex smoke with notes of dark earth, espresso, dark chocolate, leather, and a long, commanding finish that earns the Belgian Blue name.

Limited to 30,000 cigars, 2,500 boxes of 12.
