The Fuente Fuente OpusX is the most celebrated Dominican cigar in history — the release that proved the Dominican Republic could grow world-class wrapper tobacco and changed the premium cigar industry forever. Every leaf in every OpusX is grown exclusively at Chateau de la Fuente, rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia., and produced in quantities so limited that demand perpetually exceeds supply worldwide.
The OXO Oro Oscuro is among the rarest expressions within the OpusX portfolio. “Oro Oscuro” translates to “Dark Gold” — a reference to the darker, richer Sun Grown wrapper leaf selected for this line. Where the standard OpusX wrapper tends toward a Colorado Maduro shade, the Oro Oscuro wrapper is noticeably darker and oilier, contributing additional depth, richness, and a more intense natural sweetness to the blend. The result is a version of the OpusX blend that is simultaneously more assertive and more refined — familiar to those who know OpusX, yet unmistakably distinct.
Available in eight vitolas, each in a different traditional format that showcases the blend at its own pace and intensity. All are Dominican puros, handmade at Tabacalera Fuente, and produced in extremely limited quantities through Fuente’s allocated distribution network.
