Plasencia introduces its newest addition to the Alma series with Alma del Cielo, a release that redefines traditional tobacco cultivation. Unlike most cigars grown in valleys or lower elevations, the filler tobacco for this blend is cultivated at 3,500 feet above sea level, a rare and groundbreaking approach that creates a truly unique growing environment.

Sourced from the Plasencia family’s Finca San Julien, this tobacco develops its character through cooler nighttime temperatures and full sun exposure, resulting in a balanced profile with added depth and complexity.

The farm itself holds deep family significance. Originally a cattle and coffee farm, it was sold in 1961 before being repurchased in 1998 by Nestor Plasencia Sr as a meaningful gift to his wife, restoring an important piece of the family’s heritage.
