      Joya de Nicaragua is a story of great trial and tribulation. The company started out in 1968 under a different name, finding great success, even having their cigars end up in the White House. After having their trademark stolen, and sold off to the highest bidder, the factory started suffering, without having the knowledge to sell their own cigars. Many years later the new owner reacquired the name, and continued making high quality cigars. Joya Black is an altered blend of the Joya Red, now wearing a dark and oily Mexican San Andres Wrapper, and filled with Nicaraguan insides.
