In 2004, while filming The Lost City, actor and director Andy Garcia hoped to shoot a key scene at the famed Chateau de la Fuente. The only problem—tobacco harvest had long since passed. In a remarkable gesture, Carlito Fuente planted a special summer crop just for the film, defying the traditional growing season.

      That rare summer-grown tobacco was later transformed into something extraordinary: The Lost City cigar. Produced in ultra-limited batches of just 500 boxes annually, each cigar features a one-of-a-kind Dominican sun-grown wrapper cultivated during that singular summer.
