The Havana VI series represents Pete Johnson's most direct homage to the Cuban cigar tradition — a line blended specifically to evoke the character of classic Havana production using Nicaraguan tobaccos and Cuban blending techniques. The Verocu vitola takes its name from a classic Cuban shape — a tapered figurado that concentrates smoke and flavor at the draw in ways a straight-sided parejo cannot match. The triple cap, applied by hand in the Cuban tradition, is both an aesthetic and functional detail that signals the care and craftsmanship invested in each stick. Johnson produces the Havana VI at My Father Cigars in Nicaragua in collaboration with Pepin Garcia, whose Cuban heritage informs the blending philosophy throughout the line.
