The Mansión is an exclusive Luxury Cigar Club blend, crafted specifically for LCC by master blender Hendrik Kelner Jr. and rolled at the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) in the Dominican Republic. Kelner, one of the most respected names in the premium cigar world, was briefed on the flavors and preferences the LCC team loves most. The Mansión is the result, a blend he describes as more balanced and pleasurable than the tobaccos on paper would suggest.

The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Habano 2000, chosen for its presence, color, and subtle complexity. According to Kelner, this leaf carries slight spice, floral notes, and a hint of licorice that are gentle and refined rather than aggressive. The binder is a Dominican Corojo Viso, oily, full of character, and the primary source of the dark cocoa notes in the blend. “That binder and that wrapper combine really well in our experience,” Kelner notes. “They take away some of the sharp edges of each other.”

The four leaf filler is where The Mansión earns its name:

Mexican San Andrés Morrón: A viso priming leaf with smoky, floral character and a natural tobacco richness that is, in Kelner's words, “simple, nice, and interesting” in the way it works with the rest of the blend.

Dominican Criollo 98: The backbone of nearly every Kelner blend. “That's the bread, the cracker where you put the ingredients on top,” Kelner explains. It burns perfectly, balances the stronger tobaccos, and carries a subtle light cocoa note that ties everything together without canceling the personalities around it.

Yamasá (Monte Plata): The Kelner family's own tobacco, grown on land with lower pH, high mineral content, and iron rich soil similar to the old Cuban growing regions. “This has a very malty taste. It lingers in your palate, caramel sweet in a subtle way, with spice within an overall malty character. It really sharpens the edges of the other tobaccos.” A truly special leaf.

Corojo Original Seed by Leo Reyes: “Dark chocolate, creamy, very very nice tobacco. It rounds up the blend quite nicely.”

“In theory, this cigar should be more aggressive than what it is,” Kelner told us. “But they just married so well. I'm very happy with the results.”
