Lure Cigars Catch & Release Series : The Slim Jim is the newest limited-edition release from Lure Cigars Co., now arriving on shelves as a sleek, flavor-forward addition to the line.

Crafted in a 6 1/2 x 42 Lonsdale vitola, The Slim Jim showcases a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over an Estelí, Nicaragua binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Ometepe. This thinner ring gauge increases the wrapper-to-filler ratio, allowing the Broadleaf’s signature richness to shine while still delivering a surprisingly full volume of smoke and an effortless draw. The cigars are rolled at La Tabacaria in Estelí, a region synonymous with quality Nicaraguan craftsmanship.

The Slim Jim production is limited to 360 bundles of five cigars, reinforcing its small-batch appeal. According to the company, the Slim Jim may look lean, but it delivers bold flavor, excellent combustion, and balance well beyond its size.

The Catch & Release Series debuted in 2024 as a tribute-driven project inspired by cigars and fishing, honoring founder Lou Cross III’s father. With The Slim Jim, Lure Cigars continues that tradition, offering a refined, limited smoke that highlights Broadleaf character in a classic Lonsdale format.
