Wrapper: Ecuadorian Havana Seed
El Baton is far from a new brand, it was one of JC Newman's oldest lines. Back in 1914, it was a nickel cigar that used all Cuban Tobacco. Originally hand-made, this blend was laid to rest in the 1920's when machine-made cigars became popular.
Relaunched in 2008, only in one vitola, the blend was reimagined yet again, using full bodied Nicaraguan tobacco. Finished with a bold Ecuadorian Havana Seed wrapper. While El Baton is rich in history, it is not your "Grandfather's Cigar".
El Baton's Double Torpedo earned a hearty 91 point rating from Cigar Aficionado. With the Double Toro earning an impressive 90 points.
