Casdagli Cigars was founded by Jeremy Casdagli, a London based entrepreneur whose passion for premium tobacco led him to build one of the most sophisticated boutique brands in the industry. The Dominita line represents a new chapter for Casdagli: a dedicated exploration of the Dominican Republic’s tobacco terroir, produced in collaboration with the Reyes family at the De Los Reyes factory in the Dominican Republic.

The Dominita Corojo 2012 is a 100% puro, wrapper, binder, and filler all made from the same rare leaf: Corojo 2012, grown in the Navarrete region of the Dominican Republic on the Reyes family’s own land. Corojo 2012 is a relatively recent Dominican seed variety that has generated significant excitement among blenders for its distinctive character and consistent quality. The Navarrete growing region is celebrated for its mineral rich soil and unique microclimate, conditions that contribute a depth and complexity to the tobacco that sets it apart from other Dominican growing areas.

At 4 x 35, the Petit Exquisito format is one of the most elegant and historically significant vitolas in the premium cigar world, a slender, refined smoke that concentrates the Corojo 2012’s character into every draw. “This whole project is a celebration of not just Leo Reyes’ plantations in Navarrete but also showcasing the different terroir types for tobacco that can be found in the Dominican Republic,” said Jeremy Casdagli.

Future Dominita line extensions will explore additional tobacco varieties from the Reyes family’s Dominican farms.
