Two boutique brands reunite for a second collaboration, this time celebrating the Chinese Zodiac with a maritime twist. Following last year’s The Redfish release, Lure Cigars and Valacari Cigars introduce Nereus, a limited-edition cigar inspired by the mythical sea-horse of Greek lore and the Year of the Horse.

The Nereus is a 5 1/2 x 60 box-pressed gordito crafted entirely from Nicaraguan tobaccos. It features a sun-grown habano-seed wrapper from Estelí, an Estelí binder, and five-year-aged fillers from Condega and Estelí, delivering a mature, refined expression of Nicaraguan character. Production takes place at La Tabacaria Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, and this blend is completely distinct from the previous Redfish collaboration.

Limited to just 250 bundles of 10 cigars, Nereus will be available at only 18 retailers, making it a rare find for collectors and boutique cigar enthusiasts.
