Apostate Cigars is a company founded by Brandon Oveson and Kendrick Woolstenhulme, two Utah natives, drawing inspiration from the Greek word Apostia, meaning defection, departure revolt, or rebellion. Zarahelma is named after an ancient city, in classic Mormon culture, and is the company's first box-pressed release. Freshly released in 2023, this is Luxury Cigar Club’s foray into the Apostate world of cigars. Using a rather intriguing blend, Zarahelma uses a USA-grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an African Cameroon binder, and a mix of Dominican Republic and Mexico fillers.
