Rojas Cigars was founded by Manuel Rojas, a blender and factory owner who operates out of Estelí, Nicaragua, where he produces cigars for his own brands and as a contract manufacturer for several well known boutique labels. The Street Tacos line has become one of Rojas’ most celebrated releases, a line built on bold Nicaraguan blends and presented in strikingly designed packaging that has won the brand a devoted following among collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Mictlán is the newest limited edition in the Street Tacos line, a release created to honor Día de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead tradition that celebrates and remembers those who have passed. The name references Mictlan, the Aztec underworld, the destination of the dead in pre Columbian mythology. The packaging reflects that inspiration fully: a striking dark box adorned with sugar skull imagery, marigolds, and the ornate folk art aesthetic of Día de los Muertos celebration.

The blend is a 6 x 52 box pressed Toro built on a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a two leaf filler of Nicaraguan tobacco and US grown Connecticut Broadleaf. The Connecticut Broadleaf adds natural sweetness and depth to the Nicaraguan core, delivering a medium to full bodied smoke with notes of dark earth, leather, cedar, dried fruit, and a rich, satisfying finish.

Limited to 1,500 boxes of 20, 30,000 cigars total. October 2026.
