Principle Cigars are familiar to those who have been with Luxury Cigar Club for a while. The company was started by Darren Cioffi after his days as an treasure hunter led him to discover old tobacciana. This piqued his interests and he started rolling his own cigars, handing them out as gifts to friends and family. Due to the great feedback he received, he enlisted the help of Hendrik Kelner Jr. and Principle was born. 1842 pays tribute to the “Crossroads of the World”, New York City, and when it was established that year. 1842 is a 7.5x40 lancero, meant to have a vintage taste and feel.
The original certificate inside each box was issued in New York City in 1842. The New York & Harlem Railroad was the world’s first street railway and the only railroad in Manhattan at the time. It was purchased by Cornelius Vanderbilt in 1864.
