I've been enjoying the monthly Palladium subscription for a few years now. Always an amazing experience and never disappointed. Honestly, most I enjoy a lot, some a little less but always enjoyable. I appreciate the chance to vary my tastings while leaving the choosing to the experts.
I review cigars. My plan is to review each of the sticks I receive from luxury cigar pack each month. One each week, and I post my reviews on Facebook groups and my private Facebook page. If you would ever care to see a review. I would be happy to share with you. Provide an email to me and I’ll send them to you. I have reviewed 3 of the 5 of last month’s package. Thanks for all you guys do. In my opinion you guys are the best monthly program available out there today.

Palladium never disappoints!
Nothing like a lil smoke
Really liked the full body and aroma of these cigars. Some did burn uneven and when enjoying the flavor, the wrapping unbound into the second third. I prefer the v-cut on my stogies and this allows a bite to hang onto at times when my hands are busy. All in all, a very great variety of cigars to choose from.
I Haven’t smoked them all yet. But I tried one of the “mid range” priced cigars. The OZ Family Karatoba…. And man o man. It ROCKED MY WORLD. I scored it a 95 in my journal. Then saw the cigar in Cigar Aficionado it was scored a 92. Awesome Box. Definitely more value than what I paid! I’m Ready for the next!!!

Awesome! Great tasting. I work a lot over the road so being able to stop in a cigar shop is rare for me to do. So having cigars shipped to my house with different varieties is great for me. I don’t have anything negative to say. Each cigar I’ve enjoyed. When I’m home I like to pair with some bourbon. The Palladium sampler over the last three months have been mostly milder cigars, which are just not my jam. I rated the L'Atelier Surrogates Big Ten 4 out of 5 noting flavors were decent and it smoked well. I rated the Chevre Cigar Co Connecticut Bronco 3.6 out of 5 noting that it was strong for a Connecticut meaning mild but bold pepper and green plant sharpness with hay and smoldering grass. Well built but disappointing. The Fable Fourth Prime Merseene just did not hit for me either despite it receiving a respectable 89 from Halfwheel. Other notes include: Well constructed and nice feel to the barrel once it hits cruising altitude. Draw improved with heat as it loosened. Slight unraveling of wrapper during last third 3.75 out of 5. I rated the Didier Joseph Madulo Baron at 4.1 out of 5. I wrote: “ Either this $32 cigar is so far beyond me or it’s just a hyped up boutique. Cuz I really just don’t get it. Yes it’s good and the burn is awesome and has an above average bouquet but all I get is planty green tobacco, hot leather, and three kinds of pepper. Where is the cedar, or earth… ? Not my jam. Kind of a disappointment from my monthly subscription from Luxury Cigars, and on my 30th wedding anniversary after a delicious beef Wellington and a nice red wine. Oh well … life is like a box of chocolates. There is also a minor issue with wrapper unfolding. Smokes fast for a Gordo and tolerates heat well. Reminds of a Garcia Habano from My Father. Pairs nicely with Willet Pot Still. Expected more from a $32 cigar. “ A saving grace in the monthly delivery was the Hangry a bonus that I did not expect. This cigar hits all the right yummy tastebuds for me and I rated as SUPERB, 4.9 out of 5. Produced by Martinez in New York, this Lonsdale is tsoo good! Rich, deeply flavorful notes of wood, lush earth, baking cocoa (Droste) with espresso and cream in the background. Terrifically balanced and superior construction. Despite its strength, only hints of pepper and very smooth. So glad there are four more which will be aged for two months at least.
