Created by George Rico, the founder of Gran Habano and one of the premium cigar industry's most quietly influential figures, Zulu Zulu began as a private collection blend before evolving into a cigar with a greater purpose. Its first public release helped raise funds for children affected by war in Africa. The Mas Paz Edition continues that mission by directing a portion of proceeds to La Casa de la Madre y el Niño, an orphanage in Bogotá, Colombia, through which the cigar's collaborating artist, Mas Paz, was adopted as a child.
Mas Paz, born Federico Frum, is a Colombian American street artist known for his bold, geometric style and respected voice within the global urban art scene. Each box in this release features original artwork commissioned directly from Mas Paz, transforming every package into a collectible piece of art rather than simply a box of cigars.
The blend is offered in two distinct expressions. The White features a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, delivering a medium bodied profile with notes of cedar, dark earth, roasted coffee, and lingering spice. The Black offers a gentler approach, pairing an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers to create a mild smoking experience layered with cream, toasted almond, and light cedar alongside an effortless draw.
Part of the S.T.K. Miami limited run series, these cigars are produced in small quantities and are never restocked once sold through.
