The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Year of the Pausers is a deeply personal and limited release honoring two devoted members of the cigar community, Michelle and Tom Pauser. As part of Dunbarton’s “Year of” series, this release stands apart with two completely unique blends, each reflecting the individual preferences of its namesake.

Both cigars are crafted in a 6 x 48 toro format with a pigtail cap, but the similarities end there. Michelle’s blend, inspired by the legendary Sin Compromiso, features a rich Mexican San Andres Cultivo Tonto wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado binder with Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania fillers. The result is a refined profile with notes of cocoa, coffee, and a signature creamy sweetness.

Tom’s blend takes a bolder approach, built around the debut of the unique “Capa Camaleón” wrapper, a hybrid leaf combining characteristics of Habano 2000 and Connecticut Broadleaf. Beneath it lies a Mexican San Andres binder with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, delivering a distinct profile with notes of burnt caramel, saltiness, earth, and spice, unlike anything in the Dunbarton lineup.

Presented exclusively in boxes of 14 cigars, each box includes seven of each blend along with a special Dunbarton Unicorn, making this a truly collectible offering. With only 2,700 boxes produced, the Year of the Pausers is a rare and meaningful release that celebrates community, craftsmanship, and individuality.
