The Byron is another fantastic offering from world renowned blender Nelson Alfonso. The Byron is named after George Gordon Byron who was a well-known English poet, politician, and revolutionary in the Greek War of Independence. Lord Byron is considered one of the historical leading figures of the Romantic movement of his era. The Byron Petite Poemas is a perfect representation of Lord Byron. This is a classy smooth cigar, that is aged for a year after it has been rolled. The Byron has a cold draw with notes of fig and molasses. Once lit, the cigar is consistent with notes of peppercorn, croissant, almonds, and undertones of sweet molasses and chocolate. Fantastic with coffee.
