Diesel is owned by Forged Cigar Co. and run by Justin Andrews, the grandson of a third generation tobacco farmer. Diesel cigars are blended and made by AJ Fernandez at his factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. These cigars were released in 2021, and now have over a year of age on them! Crucible is the final cigar in what the company calls their “Elixir Trilogy”, consisting of Delirium, Hair of the Dog, and this cigar. Crucible’s blend uses all Nicaraguan tobacco,which tends to be the norm for AJ Fernandez. They are bold, with a complexity only AJ can bring. Pair with a rye or high proof bourbon.
